Chocolate Bar by Too Faced

Yeah, it didn't take me long to realize that I want the original Chocolate Bar Palette by Too faced. You have probably already seen that I got Semi- Sweet Palette so I couldn't help myself and picked up the other one too.

Chocolate Bar is very beautiful and I love it way more then the Semi- Sweet one. The pigmentation is incredible, it blends like a dream. Urban Decay eyeshadows can't even compare. The chocolate Bar has three eyeshadow formulas: matte, sheen and matte-glittery. When you apply the shadows they transfer beautifully without loosing it's pigmentation. They don't apply patchy even if you have a sticky base.

I love the original Chocolate Bar more than the Semi-Sweet one because it's color range is more fun. You can create so many looks when with the Semi- Sweet palette all the colors are different shades of brown, other than a blue and glittery pink. Quite boring. I love burgundy shade in the first Chocolate Bar, also everyone likes Marzipan - peachy champagne.

I'm very glad Too Faced changed the packaging and the latest releases of Chocolate Bar Palette are slimmer and have names over the eyeshadows and not on the protecting plastic.

If you can't choose between first and second palettes then definitely go for the first one. Original Chocolate Bar is amazing. The retail price is $49.00 .
Thank you for your time.

Petit Vour MAY BOX 2015

Hey, guys! So, I've been testing Petit Vour May box and to be honest this box is a miss for me. May Box had one full size product and three samples. I was very excited about everything I saw in the box but most of them I didn't care for or didn't like.

I'm going to start with a super expensive sample of a toner by MUN. It's called NO.11 ANAROSE TONER. The sample cost $2, and the retail price of a 100 ml. bottle is $68. It surely was nice. It smelled really good (roses). I couldn't quite figure out if it did anything for my face because the sample was tiny. I didn't notice any breakouts though, I know rose toners can do that to your face, so that's good.

Another product that was crazy is a sample of NYL *NEW* SHIMMER SCRUB. I think the sample costs $11. I'm not sure. But the thing is it was so packed with shimmer that after I used this scrub and washed my body with a loofa and shower gel the shimmer was still on my body like I didn't rinse it off at all. The scrub is very oily, which is good for moisturizing your skin but I do not like how slippery the tub gets. The great thing is it exfoliated very nice. I'm sure if you going to a night summer party this product will be great for you. I loved the smell of it - very citrusy.

I was super excited to get ZABANA ESSENTIALS *NEW* DRY GLOW SHAMPOO. I love dry shampoos and always happy to test new once. Well, I didn't really like this one. First, it's not a spray bottle so you have to shake the powder out of the bottle and rub it in your hair step by step. Second, Shimmer. I just don't like it. The powder works good on it's own but shimmer makes my hair look dirty and greasy like I wasn't even putting all that shampoo into my hair. The only thing I like about it is vanilla smell. This dry shampoo retails for $9. By the way, it doesn't leave any white cast - that's a plus.

Last product is VEGOCENTRIC ORGANIC LIPSTICK by LIPPY GIRL. I was so thrilled when I saw it, the packaging is beautiful. The color wasn't really at my preference but I thought I would make it work. What sucks is the formula! It's very dry, has cheap shimmer finish, gets into all lip lines and fades unevenly leaving a bright strip close to the inside of the lips, and the lipstick is sheer. Awful. I tried couple of times and then quit. Lipstick broke at the base. Now, I saw on instagram that other girls got different colors and might have different finishes. So, perhaps, not all lipsticks by that company are bad. Mine is in the color Fancy Pants. The product doesn't have any smell to it. Retail price is $23 - more than a MAC lipstick.

All these products are cruelty free, vegan and 100% natural. If you are interested in any of them please check PETIT VOUR website. Thank you very much for reading my blog.

Petit Vour Box > April 2015

Alright guys! It is time for April Petit Vour Box review. I am going to say I was kind of disappointed with it when I have seen what's inside just because I wanted a pink nail polish and specific konjac sponge but after I used all the products I fell in love with them and wish nothing different.

Lets start with the nail polish by Lauren B. Oh my god! It is amazing. A beautiful pastel mint color that's cold My Private Cabana. It dries in seconds, applies with no streaks and stays on forever. Mine didn't chip in five days and then I just took it of because I got tired of it. It is not cheap though - $18. I am very happy I have it in my collection.

Next product is a konjac sponge by Konjac Sponge CO. It retails for $12, which is kind of expensive for me since that is not my first konjac sponge. I have had one before from TJ Maxx and it was only $6. I love these sponges. They are great for removing makeup residue from the face. Don't forget that you have to get rid of the old once every three months otherwise you will start getting breakouts from the bacteria inside of an old sponge.

There were two sachets of Luxe Towelettes by Box Naturals in April PV Box. One box of 12 towelettes costs $9. One of them was lavender and another one rose scented. These wipes can be used everywhere - face, hands and even down there. I tried to remove makeup with them and they did work although I thought they weren't good enough because you do need makeup REMOVER to do so. So I suggest using them for hands or refresh your face or intimate place but not for removing makeup.

The last product is a sample of a BB Cream - '5 in 1' Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen by Suntegrity. I have it in the color Fair. It is very light and has no coverage at all. To give it a little bit of coverage I put a powder on top and it works wonders. BB cream moisturizes my face slightly but nothing major. It has no smell and some people would appreciate it. It is an expensive product - $45 for 1.7 oz.

All of these products are cruelty free and 100% natural. Check out Petit Vour website to find out more about these products and purchase them : Petit Vour

Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar by Too Faced

So I finally gave in and bought a Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced. I picked the second one of two because I really wanted something with warm tones and I thought I will leave the first Chocolate Bar Palette for autumn.

The palette is called Semi- Sweet Chocolate bar. It looks like a real bar of chocolate. Like I said it is very warm toned. There are a ton of palettes out there with the same shades so you definitely don't have to feel like this palette is a must have. It has a slight advantage though - made with cocoa powder and has amazing scent as soon as you open it.

I  had a very difficult time swatching the shades even over the primer ( I used Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer ).Although, I am very impressed how they look on the eyes. They blend incredibly and overall I love the palette. The only shade that I don't understand is Pink Sugar. It's very glittery and doesn't transfer on a lid at all. I'm sure it will be better if you use MAC Fix Plus or Duraline by Inglot.

I know there are bloggers who were disappointed with the palette but I am not and very happy that I got it. I love all the shades and looking forward to picking up the first Chocolate Bar by Too Faced.

You can find the palette on Ulta's website : Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced

Petit Vour Box / March 2015

Hey everyone. Today I'm going to talk to you about Petit Vour March box. It's theme was 'Spring dreaming'. The box contained four wonderful products: some of them were fullsize and some were samples.

Lets start with my most favourite one and it is The Little Alchemist Cacao & Banana Face Glow. It is a face mask. It has dry consistency, smells very nice (it reminded me of a  clabber at first but when you mix it with water the smell changes ). My puppy wanted to lick the mask of my face every time I've been wearing it. That mask made my skin very soft and even hydrated, also I noticed that pores were cleaner after it. The only thing that bothered me at first was it's dry consistency. I didn't want to stand in my bathroom mix it with water, but trust me, the result that you see will make you want to do it every day! The full size of this mask is $32.

The next product I was so very excited about is Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Repair CC Cream in the color Natural Glow. It is a very luxurious product. 5 oz. of this cream retails for $39. I mean Estee Lauder Double wear foundation price. This CC cream is very light and it doesn't cover pretty much anything although it does evens out your skin tone. I used it with a face powder over it and the coverage worked great for me. Very natural effect. I love this product so much, unfortunately I don't think I will be able to buy a full size just because it's so expensive.

This product was the least favourite. I didn't really like it at all. It is Metropolis Soap Co Lip Butter.  The price of it is $7 which is not cheap. I just didn't find it moisturizing at all. Lip butter would disappear from my lips in 20 min and leave them dryer then they were before. The scent is nice just like it says lavender & spearmint. Unfortunately this product didn't work for me.

The last one is a perfume sample. It is EROS Wellness Perfume by Vert Mont Perfumery. The little card says that this perfume opens differently on everyone. There are notes of Red Mandarin, Corriander, Orris Root, Patchouli, Juniper & Jasmine Sambac in it. The consistency is oily. Well, it is straight up oil. For some people it's great because the smell lingers for a very long time, for others it's a disadvantage because it can stain your clothe. You will just have to be careful. I didn't really like the smell. Patchouli is not something I am into. Otherwise it's a great natural perfume and it's price is $35 for 10 ml.

PETIT VOUR Box / February 2015

Hey guys! I hope you all are doing great. It is time for me to share my thoughts on Petit Vour February box. The theme of this box is Love due to St. Valentine's Day. To be honest I wasn't really pleased with it but there was one thing that made me very happy. Lets get into it.

I am going to start with the least favourite item and it is a perfume sample. To be honest I do not like getting perfume samples in the subscription boxes or when I place orders on the websites. To me it is always a waist because by the time I get out to the store I have already forgotten how this or that sample smelled. I can do better if I just go to the store and smell perfume testers there.
Anyway I think it is awesome that there are options for natural organic no parabens cruelty free perfumes out there. In the box I got My Daughter fragrances sample in Always Loved. The aroma wasn't something I would go for. It has notes of Bulgarian rose oil, Turkish rose absolute, cocoa absolute, patchouli, vetiver, cedar. It smells fresh and a little manly to me. It did remind me of old schools cologne. The thing that I liked about it is it is long lasting. It's even more lasting than my Lancome Tresor Midnight rose. Also the sample was only half way full when I got it, so I was kind of bummed about it. Maybe it was just my luck and others got it full.

Next item is Ellovi Butter. First of all it smells delicious! OMG! If you love mint chocolate icecream that is the thing for you! But don't eat it :) The sample is very tiny but I absolutely love the jar. There are only 6 ingredients in this butter: Macadamia Nut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, non-gmo Corn Starch & Peppermint Essential Oil.  I love using it before bed. I put it on my neck and chest then I enjoy aroma while falling asleep. I haven't used it on my whole body just because like I said the sample is quite small. I also have been using it on the sides of my cheeks because of crazy dryness but the butter did not help and only made it worse. So I wouldn't suggest using it on your face. Other then that I absolutely love this product!

Moving on to the third sample and it is Scrub me nice and gritty body scrub by Balanced guru. It is dry consistency, which was unusual to me because even when I make homemade body scrub I make it creamy by using oils and body wash. The main ingredients are raw sugar, organic coffee, coconut oil, cocoa butter. I did enjoy using it and it did exfoliate great. The only thing is the tub gets all dirty because of coffee and you have to take time to clean afterwards. Also I do want to add that when you make the scrub in the jar wet, the coffee particles stick to each other becoming crumbs and harden. Then the product does not scrub and even hurts a little bit turning into waist of a product.

The last and most exciting product is a mascara. All natural organic cruelty free Lily Lolo *New* Vegan Mascara in black. I was waiting for it so bad and was extremely happy when I got it. I like very classic slim packaging. The mascara is very pigmented, does not transfer or smear under eyes, doesn't have fall outs during the day (like 2-3). The brush on it is very classic and gives natural length and volume. You can see on the picture that the brush  is a little bit bend- I don't know if it's defected or it's suppose to be like that.  Do not expect doll lashes from this mascara. The formula is right in the middle- nor dry neither wet and it smells with black tea. I love this product and it totally made this box for me a win. Price wise it is almost the same as high end mascaras.

You can see all prices of the products on this little card. If you have questions about the box please check out their website: Petit Vour website
Thank you lots for your time.

LORAC Spring Collection 2015 / Unzipped Gold / Unzipped Cheek Palette and Alter Ego Lipstick SET

Hey everyone. So Lorac has launched their spring 2015 collection and I am super excited to talk to you about it. First of all I want to let you know that I absolutely adore Lorac eyeshadows.  I think they are very pigmented, soft and blend easily. They do have fall outs but so do every other eyeshadows.

I am going to start with an eyeshadow palette since I have already mentioned how much I love those. So this spring Lorac launched an addition to their Unzipped palette which is called Unzipped Gold. Forgot to mentioned that the theme of the collection is "Lorac Goes Gold", that is why there are so many different shades of gold in collection.

The palette is white and slightly shines when the light hits it. I think it will be harder to clean than the original Unzipped which is yellow and glossy.

As I mentioned Unzipped Gold has different beautiful shades of gold, couple transition shades and couple shades that will be good to dippen out the eye look. The pigmentation is on point! The shimmery shades are basically pressed pigments and have gorgeous metallic finish. There are ton of fall outs that's why it might be easy if you apply them with a brush like the one from Naked palette by Urban Decay or with your fingers. The only shade that I didn't like pigmentation wise is Unafraid. I had such a hard time layering it on top of the other shimmery-metallic shades. It was a mess.

The palette has four matte colors and six shimmer-metallic. Of course it has a small size of Behind the Scenes eye primer as all the other Lorac palettes do. It retails a little but higher than the original Unzipped palette which is 42$ on Ulta's website : Unzipped Gold Palette

The collection didn't only have the eyeshadow palette. There are blush palette, lipsticks, concealers and powders. The next item I got was Unzipped Cheek palette & Alter Ego lipstick Set. I thought the palette was going to be small therefore with small blushes. But I was happily surprised. The size of the blushes is quite decent.

There are two matte shades - mauvy and bright pink, one satin-reddish brown and one with shimmer-glitter - peach.  They are pigmented and almost don't have fall outs but not all shades are suitable for my skin tone. Like the brown shade that I can't really use because it's neither a bronzer nor contour shade. Hopefully I will be able to use bright pink shade with a very light hand. I didn't get to wear the blush for long enough to see if it stays for long time, but in general - I do like the palette.

With the blush palette comes Alter Ego lipstick in the color Girl Next Door. It is quite neutral every day shade but it's more coral than pink, which I like and I don't. It has nice vanilla scent just like MAC lipsticks do. The finish is matte and the lipstick goes into  all my fine lines which is not attractive at all. That is why I have to use gloss over the lipstick. For the price which is $16 (it is free in the set) I would probably prefer MAC matte lipsticks but there is really not much difference between them. I am just gonna say it didn't wow me. The set on Ulta's web site is $30 and I want to say it is limited edition but I'm not sure.

I hope you liked this small review of the products that I got from Lorac's new collection. Thank you so much for your time.
