Lorac Pro Palette. My dream came true!!

Hi guys!! I hope you all have had a great Memorial weekend and your week has started well. It's 10:16 PM right now and I just got inspired and decided to tell you guys about my last grand purchase which is Lorac Pro Palette! :)

Now I am apologizing because I threw away the packaging which was stunning and slim, made in black, grey and white coloring.

The palettes packaging is very sleek and gorgeous. It's a cardboard one but it doesn't bother me at all and I am loving it so much!! I have been dreaming about it for a year and my amazing husband decided to make a surprise for me by getting it!!

The palette has 16 eye shadows the top row of which is matte and the bottom one is shimmery. The color range is warm. I absolutely love all those brown and champagne colors. My favourite one is garnet. I will do a make up look for you guys so you can see for yourself what I am talking about!! It will be in the next blog post because I don't have the look ready right now. The palette also has stunning purple and grey.

We all know that every palette out there has a name for every color in it. Some of those names are very sexy, cute, yummy but not here. Lorac Pro Palette's eye shadows names express the very same shades that are represented. And again, it doesn't make me hate the palette.

The pigmentation of the eye shadows is incredible and they are all smooth and buttery. They all blend very well without losing it's pigmentation. Because there are matte and shimmery colors it's a great palette for travelling.

There is a little gift that comes with the palette - an eye shadow base. Unfortunately I haven't tried it yet. I will let you guys know how it works on my future tutorials.

Thank you for checking out my blog. Yours, Tatiana Guerrero.

Bad girl look

Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well and having a great Memorial Day weekend.
When I woke up this morning I went to check my youtube and I was glad to see an update from one of my favorite youtube bloggers and  make up artists Elena Krygina.

So I went ahead and recreated this look. It's simple, edgy and great for night out. Also it's a great way to express your feelings no matter how you feel.

So I started with a face primer which is Fix & Perfect Pro primer from Rimmel London  to help my foundation last longer and hide some of my pores (just because it doesn't cover all of them).

Then I put an eye primer on (Original Eyeshadow Primer Potion from Urban Decay) and started doing makeup how Elena was telling. I also filed out my eyebrows before I did my eyes and face. For that I used a pencil from ULTA Lid, Line, Love 10 Pc Eye Liner Collection in Mink and an eyeshadow from NYX cosmetics which came in a palette called Butt Naked Eye Color Kit

On my eyes I used a black eyeliner by AVON in Black, Petal Pusher eyeshadow palette from Wet & Wild, NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Loose Pearl Eye Shadow in Nude.

Pencil by AVON worked great especially to make a smoky eyes because it is very creamy and not water proofed.
I recently got that palette by Wet & Wild so I really wanted to use it. I went with purple just because it's my favourite color and it compliments my eye color great. The nude pigment from NYX worked perfectly for this look as well. I put an Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Eye Pencil in Black Velvet on my waterline. It's not my favourite but I thought I gave it a try. I hoped it was waterproofed but now I don't think so. At the end I topped my eyelashes with Maybelline the Turbo Volume Express mascara. It is a great one but I am almost out of it, which is good because i have had it forever.

For my face I used a foundation by Rimmel London Match Perfection. I use the lightest shade. I find this foundation has a medium coverage which I like. To cover up my pimples and dark circles I used Super Stay concealer by Maybelline. I don't like it just because it's hard to blend and it drys out really quick and sits like a patch. After that I topped my face off with Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder.

In this look I used one of my favourite blushers by Essence in the color adorable.

I love it because it's very easy to blend, the color is beautiful, the blusher is creamy, but also powdery which doesn't bother me. To bronze my face I used a darker colored face powder by Covergirl in medium light just because that is what I use for bronzer right now.

My  highlighter is Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow  in Natural Nude by Physicians Formula. I love this product because it can be used for lots of makeup purposes.

I decided to go with dark lips in purple tone as eyeshadow and do a bad girl look. For that I used ColorBurst Matte Balm by Revlon in Shameless.
And that is how it all turned out.

I normally have a hard time recreating looks but this time I did it quick and according to instructions. I hope you liked it and thank you for your time.

Vivid eye cucumber eye cream by CSI (Cosmeceutical Sciences Institute)

Hi guys! I haven't been here for a little while and I have to say I really missed it. So now, I am happy to write a new blog.

Today I want to tell you about an eye cream, but not just anyone but the organic one. Yes, even though I can not relay on organic products too much, I am still trying out new stuff and hoping that someday I will find something I really like.

Vivid eye cucumber eye cream by CSI (Cosmeceutical Sciences Institute) I got on vitacost, which I think is a vitacost brand.

There is a nice cucumber scent when you open a jar. As you can see on the picture, it has a beautiful light green (minty) color. I think the lovers of cucumbers will appreciate it a lot. I do.

The cream has no parabens, no synthetic preservatives, fragrances or colorants. Also the great thing is that it has vitamins A and E, cucumber extract and age-defying peptides. All together it does a great job in protecting from UV light, repair and moisturize  under eye skin. Now, it says you can use it AM and PM, which I find possible even though the cream does look greasy when you put it on your skin.

But it sinks into your skin after 15- 20 min so you dont have to worry about your makeup looking messed up. The only things is before you go to bed make sure you are doing your bed routine before hand so the cream has time to penetrate into the skin properly otherwise you have a risk to wake up with puffy eyes. But again for those who struggle with puffiness cucumber extract helps to sooth it down. It also feels very cool and slight tingly.

This product is not tested on animals and I think it's a great one for being an organic just because sometimes organic creams may really not do anything for you.

I have been using it for about a week now and of course I didn't notice reducing of dehydration lines under my eyes, But I would recommend this products for young ladies who just want to keep their skin in tonus.

It retails for $9.90 on vitacost for 5gr of product.

If you decide to purchase it I hope it won't disappoint you. I love this eye cream and and the packaging is so cute. :)

Ulta LID, LINE, LOVE 10 piece eye liner collection.

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week so far.

We all know that it's that time of the year when we add some color not just in our outfits but in makeup as well. Sometimes it can be hard to create a look with bright eye shadows especially for beginners and that is when the colored eye pencils rescue us. You can use them as a base to make eye shadow pop, line your eyes, smudge  it under lower lash line, use it on the water line or pop it in the inner corner of your eyes. The result will change your eye look incredibly making it springish  and fun.

Last time when I went to Ulta I saw that cute little box of travel size eye liners and I thought why not to try them out since there are not just black and brown pencils in it but purple, bronzed, turquoise and other fun colors.

It also looked like a great practicing kit for beginners who doesn't want to spend bunch of money and buy pencils separate and decide at the end that colorful eye liners are not for them (also there is a way to fall in love with them).

I have to add that these pencils are not waterproofed. They can smudge easily but In my make up look I put a purple eye shadow powder over it to prevent smudging. All pencils are very creamy and applying with no fuss.

On the picture above you can see the swatches on my hand. Here are the names:
Olive Branch
Halo
Mink
Aero
Bronzed Medal
Golden Egg
Denim
Black Out
Majesty
Night Sky

I have to add that its hard to see the difference between Mink and Bronzed Medal but Bronzed Medal has a slight gold shimmer to it. Now, Black out is just regular black liner but Night Sky has a very small glitters in it. I thought that Denim was a gray liner but on the picture it seems dark blue. Lets just call it bluish gray or vice versa.

Here is my makeup look I created using purple pencil eye liner Majesty.

I have to say that my favourite colors are Aero, Golden Egg and Majesty. I am going to make more looks with every color for sure. Also I have a high hopes for greenish olive colored pencil called Olive Branch, just because I don't have green eye shadow but I really want to start using green in my makeup looks.

Like I mentioned above I purchased my box in Ulta (obviously, it is an Ulta brand).

They retail for $14 so go get you some. :)

All truth about Desert Essence Organics Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello the beautiful people of the internet. It's a great hot and sunny day out and I am in the very happy mood which inspired me to write down a new blog post.

So today I want to talk to you about very famous organic company Desert Essence. To be particular, about their shampoo and conditioner. Now, I am a big fan of all fruity smells in the world. I have heard a lot about Dessert Essence on youtube so I was very happy to find what I needed on vitacost.

My first purchase was Italian red grape shampoo and matching it conditioner. This line is for color treated hair.

It has a great yummy scent which makes you enjoy your shower routine more than normally. The color of shampoo is slight yellow toned (basically clear)and the conditioner is white. Now, I am sure that every line of shampoos and conditioners has the same texture and color.

Because it is fully organic product and it is parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrance or colors, silicones, EDTA, glycol or petroleum based ingredients free it will wash all the naturals oils out of your hair to the point of squeakiness. I do not think it is bad but to use a conditioner is important. It will bring all the moisture back into your hair and make them manageable. And the conditioners that come in these lines are great. After using Desert Essence conditioner my hair were super soft and I couldn't keep my hands of them. Also I was putting the conditioner all over my hair including my roots and it did not weigh my hair down. I had it voluminous on the next day as well.

The smell of the products does not linger on the hair for long. So those who does not like fruity smells can try it out and not be scared that their hair will smell like a fruit juice. As you can see on the picture I completely ran out of my first shampoo and conditioner by Desert Essence.

My newer purchase was Desert Essence Organics Coconut shampoo and conditioner.

Of course the smell is to die for. Lovers of coconut oil will adore this line. The coconut line comes as nourishing for dry hair. Both the Italian red grape and Coconut lines do pretty much the same job to me.

What I am not happy about is itchiness that happened to my scalp when I was half way done with the bottle of Italian red grape shampoo. It would start on the second day after I washed my hair even though my hair were still pretty clean (not oily). After finishing that line I went onto another one which is Coconut and thought: "Oh it will go away when I switch shampoos". But it didn't.

So as great as these products are they are not for me. I know your hair can be very capricious with organic shampoos so please let me know if Desert Essence Organics works for you and tell me which line is your favourite (there are also other lines that I haven't spoken about).

All shampoos and conditioners from Desert Essence are cruelty free which is not tested on animals.
