NYX Butter Glosses review

Hey guys!! Again, I feel like I haven't been here for a while. I remember I did tweet that I was going to do a post about Batiste dry shampoo this past weekend. I got a little busy so I couldn't, but it is still on my mind and that post definitely will be up.  

Moving on to today's post - it is going to be about NYX Butter Glosses. They have gotten a lot of hype on youtube. Most of girls like it, so I decided to find out for myself. 

NYX butter glosses have a huge range of color selection which is pretty amazing. I stopped on neutral colors - one is pinky and another one is more orange toned. The pinky one is Eclair 02 and the orange one is Apple strudel 08. I thought Apple strudel will be perfect for summer because of the orange trend.  

The tube of a gloss is pretty small, which I don't really like super long lip glosses just because they take forever to finish them up and by the end it is even kind of gross to use. The size of this one is 0.27 fl.oz. (8 mL). I find it perfect. 

I love lip products that smell yummy. I think it's a great plus for a product and who wants to wear something on the lips that stinks. The smell of the butter glosses reminds me of donuts. MMM, so delicious.  

I don't think these glosses are moisturizing but they are not drying either. They feel really smooth and non sticky on the lips. The staying time is just about an hour which I love, because I don't have to put it on every 20 min. 

This product is definitely far from being all natural and organic. If you using only things like that then stay away from the butter glosses. It has mineral oil, paraffinum and all kinds of other stuff. 

I really love my new glosses and I will repurchase them when I run out. Like I said in my video I finally got something I can top off my M.A.C. lipsticks with. I love the smell of the glosses, the way they feel , the size, the packaging and they are very affordable. Don't forget to check out your local Ulta for these bad boys.

NYX Butter Lipstick REVIEW

Hey there! Today I will talk to you about butter lipsticks by NYX which are relatively new. I picked up one color in the shade gumdrop, number 22. 

So at first I was kind of scared of the color. It is definitely out of my comfort zone, but then I thought hey I don't have colors like this at all, so it will be a great opportunity to experiment and create new looks. 

To be honest, I am very pleased with the shade. It's a bright barbie pink and it looks gorgeous especially now, when I have tan. I was wearing it with neutral eyes, so I can have that bright pop of color on my lips. 

The consistency is very buttery so the lipstick melts easily, that's why it does intend to move quite easily. Especially when it is hot outside. 

I would say that this butter lipsticks are pigmented. You can wear them more shear or layer it on, but keep in mind that it can look patchy if your lips have cracks and are very dry. That does not look pretty at all. 

The product almost has no smell to it, but there is a tiny bit of a scent. It is not perfumy or sweet. I would say it can remind you the smell of butter (if you could say that butter smells) + some chemicals, obviously. 

Yesterday we had to take our puppy to the vet, so I chose NYX butter lipstick to be my lip product of the day. I kind of regretted it. Why? It dried my lips out like crazy. Despite of it being a butter lipstick it is far from being moisturizing. That moisturizing feeling is only when you have the lipstick on. 

I picked up the lipstick when it was on sale so I didn't pay much for it. I know that it retails for $5.99 at Ulta Beauty Stores. 

I don't regret buying this product, I like it just because I think the color payoff and the color range of these butter lipsticks are amazing. I am considering getting more of them in the future.

NEW L'oreal Paris Collection Privee by Doutzen LIPSTICK

Hey guys! So like I said in my Independance day haul video I am doing a review on some of the lip products I got and to be particular, today it is the new lipsticks by L'oreal Paris. The collection is called Privee by Doutzen. They are all nude lip colors. There isn't a huge selection of colors so I when I looked I liked one color and that is what I picked up.

Lets go through all pros and cons of this product.

First of all look at this beautiful packaging. How stunning this lipstick tube is? To be honest that is what got me sold. The tube will collect the dirty fingerprints though just because it's kind of like Nars packaging.

Second- the color.Mine is 600. It's really pale which I did know it would be like that. I think you can kind of see my disappointment in the video when I swatched it because I expected it to be really pigmented like M.A.C.'s Creme cup, but this lipstick is not about the pigmentation. I understood it when I put it on my lips. It has a beautiful frosty pearl pale pink finish to it. In addition I will say that right now I do have some tan going on. Can you imagine my reaction when I put it on? I was like "WOW". I love it!!  Unfortunately I don't have a picture for you to show it but I will be using this lipstick in my future videos so you guys will definitely see what I am talking about.

Third- the scent. I know alot of girls do not like the smell of L'oreal lip products. I have to add that I am one of them. I have one lip gloss which is more like a liquid lipstick by this company and BOY, that thing stinks!! So I was a little bit worried about the smell of this lipstick collection. Am I disappointed in the scent of this product? - not really.  It does smell perfume like and the scent is stronger on your lips then in the tube, but I can deal with it. For you of those who are fans of more neutral smells or fruity smells , I will say that you probably not gonna like it and if the scent of a lip product is a big deal for you- then please check out a tester before you buy it. 

Fourth- I did find it moisturizing. I said that it looks like a moisturizing lipstick when I swatched it for the first time. But the thing with it is that it feels like that only when it's on your lips. Don't be afraid, your lips do not feel dry once it is gone. The staying power is short. I would say this lipstick is like a regular tinted lip balm. 

So these are my pros and cons. You have to decide if you want this product in your collection or the regular chapstick is just as good for you.

It's cookie time!!!

Yes guys!! I have been craving cookies for a while now and today I finally decided to make some.

All my life I  have been hating cookies. Not every kind of them but most, so at some point it just became "I don't like cookies". When I came to America I saw that cookies here are totally different...and they are pretty good. But I still wasn't crazy about them. I actually started to like cookies only because of my husband who is a huge cookie addict. LOL And when I told him that I don't like cookies he said "WHAT?"

So now I actually like them.I don't eat cookies every time I get a chance but I do eat them when I have a huge craving for sweets.

Today is one of those days :)
